Why BILT 2 Travel

Not the loudest voice in travel rewards. The most trusted.

Most rewards advice is written for experts and makes the whole thing sound harder than it is. We do the opposite. We teach beginners the responsible way, step by step, so you can travel more without risky moves or spending a dollar more than you already do.

Simple, not clever

No complicated hacks and no encouraging you to overspend. Clear, practical steps anyone can follow.

Beginner-safe

We help you avoid the mistakes that cost money or hurt your credit. Points are a tool, used responsibly.

Real, not theory

Every strategy comes from real trips actually booked with points, laid out so you can do the same.

How it works

Your first trip on points, in three steps

1

Learn the basics

Understand how points work, in plain English, in one sitting. No jargon.

2

Points build on the everyday purchases you already make. No extra spending, paid off in full.

3

Book your trip

Redeem your points with a simple plan, and go. That first trip is closer than you think.

Meet the founder

“I booked a $2,400 all-inclusive in Jamaica and only paid $500 out of pocket. From there, it only got better.”

Hi, I’m Dwight, founder and instructor of BILT 2 Travel. After that first Jamaica trip, I took a five-day trip to Playa del Carmen and a separate four-day trip to Cancun without paying for the stay, flew round-trip to Maui for two for under $35, and enjoyed free nights at the Waldorf Astoria in Maui. I built the Playbook so beginners can do the same, responsibly.

Common questions

Honest answers

Is this really beginner-friendly? +

Yes. Everything is written for someone who has never used points for travel. We explain each step in plain English and never assume prior knowledge.

Will this hurt my credit? +

Used responsibly, no. We teach earning points on everyday spending you already do, paid off in full each month. No debt, no risky tactics.

Do I have to spend more money? +

No. The whole idea is earning on purchases you were already going to make. You do not change your spending.

How soon could I book a trip? +

It depends on your starting point, and we set realistic expectations. The Playbook shows the path step by step so you are never guessing.
